Start reviewing products you already own to get samples of your work. Make sure to send a link when your write about a company to them.

Good advice...that is exactly what I did as well. Once you have some review posts so your writing style and blog is a bit established, then get in touch with companies offering to run a giveaway on the site of the products you review. Once we run a few giveaways and list them with sites like www.prizey.net and www.online-sweepstakes.com and you're getting some traffic, THEN start asking for product samples. For that you'll need to have some established posts and traffic so goodiesformom is right on the money.
